The University of Minnesota's Biennial Pharmacogenomics Conference, "Pharmacogenomics and the Path to Higher-Value Healthcare", will be taking place on September 21-23, 2022. This year's live virtual conference will feature renowned speakers in the field of pharmacogenomics who will focus on the healthcare value of pharmacogenomics. While the importance of tailoring drugs using genomics to reduce adverse drug reactions and improve efficacy is well established, economic evaluation of pharmacogenomics is still emerging. Payers, organizations who have implemented or are considering implementation are requiring economic evaluations, return on investment and cost/benefit analyses. Most clinicians are not aware of these data and its strengths and limitations. A special addition to our conference this year is a one-day clinical case workshop completely devoted to working through real-world pharmacogenomic cases. Registration is now open.
