Genome Web feature on commercial start-up co-founded by CAPGM’s Chris Woods and the exposome project

Chris woods was featured in a GenomeWeb article about his research project to establish RNA biomarker signatures indicative of exposure to different types of pathogens. His project has been turned into a company he co-founded called Host Response, which is now seeking to identify potential partners in the platform space.

The Exposome Project is a multidisciplinary effort anchored at the Center for Applied Genomics and Precision Medicine (CAGPM) that started in 2001. The goal is to identify signatures that parse host responses to viruses, bacteria and non-infectious conditions.
