Second phase of RADICAL-2 Awarded

The RADICAL-2 (Rapid Diagnostics in Categorizing Acute Lung Infections) project, co-led by Chris Woods and Ephraim Tsalik, were recently awarded funding for the next phase of their research program.  The project is supported by the Antibacterial Resistance Leadership Group of the National Institute of Allergy And Infectious Diseases of the National Institutes of Health.  The project will focus on the development of a host gene expression classifier to distinguish between bacterial and viral infections.
